Oppenheimer digital release date
A digital release date for Oppenheimer is yet to be confirmed.
Variety reported in 2021 that Nolan requested that Universal give the movie an exclusive theatrical window between 90 to 120 days, but it’s not clear whether this was granted.
If Oppenheimer does follow this theatrical window, the earliest the film would be available to stream would be around 19th October.
Given that Oppenheimer is a Universal Pictures film, it will likely become available to stream on Peacock and Prime Video.
Oppenheimer was released in cinemas on Friday 21st July 2023, three years after Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi film Tenet, which was released in the first year of the COVID pandemic in 2020.
Oppenheimer was shot in IMAX and on 65mm film.
